Salman Khan executes his Back-up Plan: Actor all set to Surprise Fans with his Eid 2020 release

Salman Khan had been facing issues deciding film for Eid 2020 release. While Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Inshallah was shelved, the Kick actor had been confused about his next. Now, the actor has finally found a perfect choice for his Eid release and it is definitely not Kick 2. 

Since 2009, Salman has been gifting his fans a blockbuster on the occasion of Eid and it's no surprise he has carried on the tradition this year as well. 

This year, the 53-year-old actor saw quite a few barriers as he was slated to shoot with SLB. The film saw Alia Bhatt as the female lead. However, the script of Inshallah needed Salman to shoot a number of lip lock scenes with Alia. The actor was not comfortable shooting such intimate scenes, and hence he asked Bhansali to remove those kissing scenes. However, the director did not agree to make the changes, and since, Salman has always refrained from doing any intimate scene, he chose to quit the movie, the report stated.

Considering Salman Khan, he is known to conceive family-friendly content and now the Bharat actor has assured the fans with a film which will be directed by Prabhudeva. Although, the actor failed to reveal the name of his upcoming film.

With all the secrecy, the actor definitely has a huge surprise for his fans! 

Despite some bumps in the road this year, he is still gearing up and is ready to entertain his fans with a film on Eid 2020.

While some suspected, it might be Kick 2 or Radhe, the actor came forward and put an end to these rumors and confirmed that it was not as they speculated. 

Talking to Pinkvilla about the same, the actor said, “We (Prabhudheva and I) are doing a film together again. But it is not called 'Radhe'. It will come on Eid.”

On the work front, Salman is currently busy shooting for Dabangg 3 which is also being directed by Prabhudeva. The two have also worked together on the 2009 film Wanted. It only seems fitting that the director who began the Eid release trend come to its rescue after the cancellation of the originally planned Eid release.
