Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene starrer Hum Aapke Hain Koun has completed 25 years today, on Monday, since its release in 1994. The romantic musical comedy, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, also featured Mohnish Bahl, Renuka Shahane, Anupam Kher, Reema Lagoo, Alok Nath, and others. And, to celebrate the occasion of the iconic film marking a silver jubilee in the film industry, the makers are planning to host a special screening of the film this week.
"A special screening is being planned for August 9 at Liberty cinema with the entire cast including Salman, Madhuri and other members of the film. The entire team will relive the moments again, they will talk about their experiences and all," a source close to the development stated as per the India Today report.

Produced by Rajshri Productions, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! is a modern take on the same production’s 1982 film Nadiya Ke Paar. The film continues to remain an absolute favorite even day after 25 years and the camaraderie between Prem and Nisha (played by Salman and Madhuri respectively) in the film is enjoyed by one and all.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who was also a part of the film, congratulated the entire cast and crew and said that the film changed the concept of marriages in the country.
He tweeted, "Congratulations to Rajshri, Sooraj Barjataya and everyone associated (including me) with the iconic 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' for completing 25 years. The film, apart from celebrating goodness, also changed the concept of marriages in India forever.”
