Sajid Khan puts up emotional post for mom Maneka Irani; says, 'Still can't believe'

Sajid Khan has put up a post on Instagram days after the demise of his mother Maneka Irani.

Farah Khan and Sajid Khan’s mother Maneka Irani passed away a week back. She had been recovering after multiple surgeries. In fact, Maneka Irani had also come on Farah Khan’s YouTube channel where she shared her fave recipe, Keema Mattar. The lady was married to Kamran Khan but the marriage was not a happy one. She is the sister of scriptwriter Honey Irani and actress Daisy Irani. Sajid Khan has put up a post on his Instagram account with a childhood pic with his mom.

It seems Kamran Khan who was a successful stuntman did not take failure well. It led to alcoholism. Farah Khan told Bharti TV that he just could not adjust to the change in his financial situation. She said Sajid Khan and she would be terrified of his temper. He would begin to drink from the morning itself. When the fights got unbearable, Maneka Irani moved in with her sister Honey Irani. Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar are cousins from the maternal side. She said that Sajid Khan and she laugh about those times now but they were hard. Farah Khan began to work early as a background dancer in the 1990s. But the mid-90s brought immense success to Farah Khan.

Farah Khan wrote on Instagram, “We all take our mothers for granted….especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much I love my mom Menka….she’s been the strongest, bravest person I have ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again…I Love You.”

Akshay Kumar had come some days back to meet Sajid Khan to give his condolences. Sajid came down to drop him to his car. They have worked together in a number of successful films. Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan and Suhana Khan were there too. The superstar stayed by Farah Khan’s side all through. There is a video of him giving her a flying kiss. Rani Mukerji, MC Stan, Shiv Thakare and others were there too.
