Sai Ketan Rao opens up on rumours of playing lead in 'Imlie' post leap

Star Plus' popular show Imlie is all set to take a leap soon. There is buzz in the media around the leap, and the makers are looking out for a new cast. 

And now, according to the media report, makers have approached Sai Ketan Rao and Adirja Roy to play the lead couple in the show. India Forums contacted Sai Ketan Rao to get confirmation on the news, to which he reacted, 

"Yes, we are in discussions. I have always admired Gul mam's work and her way of doing substantial projects."

Sai Ketan Rao rose to fame with Raghav Rao from Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali. He was last seen as Raunaq Reddy in Chashni. 

Star Plus' Imlie commenced with Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani in the lead roles. Subsequently, the storyline progressed through a generational shift, introducing a fresh cast of main leads, including Megha Chakraborty, Karan Vohra, and Seerat Kapoor. This marks the show's second generational evolution.
