Saee Barve opens up on the video that sparked the news of her exit from YRKKH, the new cast & more

Saee Barve, known for her portrayal of Surekha in the popular Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,' has become one of the most beloved characters on the show. Recently, she shared a video on her Instagram, featuring the cast bidding an emotional farewell to the show. Subsequently, a news portal reported that the cast, including Saee, had filmed their last episode. However, we exclusively clarified that Harshad and Pranali have yet to shoot their final episode, and Saee will not be exiting the show.

We reached out to Saee to discuss this matter, and she provided her reaction to the news. Saee explained, "Yes, that video showed the third generation of the show bidding an emotional adieu. However, no, I am not exiting the show. I am very much a part of the show post the leap too. Surekha will remain as she is. There will still be a little 'namak' left in Surekha. In fact, a few other Goenka members will continue shooting for the show post-leap."

Saee shared her perspective on the leap and the cast bidding the show farewell, stating, "We learned about this leap quite late. Initially, it felt a bit disheartening. But with time, we managed to overcome the sadness, or maybe we accepted it. Initially, even I wasn't certain whether I would stay on the show or bid farewell. My mother often says that as actors, we must realize that we are professionals and that we will encounter such situations in our careers. But we must remember that we are professionals first. Nevertheless, goodbyes are always challenging."

When asked about whom she will miss the most, Saee expressed, "I will miss my girl gang the most. Our fun moments, our conversations, everything will be missed. I will genuinely miss all the Goenka and Birla ladies."

Regarding whether she has met the new cast of the show, Saee mentioned, "I have not met them yet. I'm on my way to Mahabaleshwar to join the cast, and we will start shooting together from tomorrow. However, I've heard all positive feedback about them from the production. So, I'm confident that everyone is great."
