Mohammad Nazim returned to Mumbai after having spent some of his time in his village in Punjab. He rose to fame with his role in Saath Nibhana Saathiya and while he did not intend to return to Mumbai given the Coronavirus issue, he eventually decided to come back becuase he did not want to turn down the offers he was getting.

Talking about the same, he went on to tell a leading daily "I had thought that I would return to Mumbai only after there’s some improvement in the COVID situation, but I got some good offers and I had to convince myself that I have to start work someday. I stayed at my village with my family for over four months and it was great. I knew it was better to stay with my family than be alone in Mumbai, but now that I would be shooting soon, I had to come back.''

Apart from the work he is being offered in TV, he also has a Punjabi film coming up ahead and talking about this, he went on to say how he does not want to restrict himself. About the movie, he says that they were due to start the shooting earlier in March, however, things got delayed and they might start next month. He added how the shoot is likely to be in Chandigarh and he is keen about it.

He also spoke about how taking precautions are rather necessary and he constantly reminds himself about the same. He says, “We all have to start work now and we have to be careful and take every possible precaution. So I am preparing myself to go on the sets and I will make sure that I follow all safety norms."
