Rupali Ganguly: While I play ‘Anupamaa’, I’m more of Monisha Sarabhai

Television’s most popular actress right now is Rupali Ganguly. The actress is receiving rave reviews for her convincing portrayl of the character in Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’. The actress took some time out from her busy schedule and did a special LIVE session with her real-life brother Vijay Ganguly who’s an ace choreographer in Bollywood and also won an award for choreographing the popular song of 2022 ‘Chakka Chak’.

Rupali and Vijay share a warm bond and like every brother-sister duo, Vijay loved pulling sister Rupali’s leg and also revealed her secrets. He stated that he feels super happy when Rupali’s son gives it back to her. He said, “It is more like he is taking revenge on my behalf”. Later Vijay also mentioned how proud he is watching his sister get so much love while Rupali also reciprocated stating that she gets happy seeing her brother reach new heights of success.

For Rakhi celebration, Rupali got a pastry for Vijay, a part of which was missing. Both the sibblings started a banter wherein Vijay stated that Rupali ate one section of the cake while Rupali defended herself by rubbishing it. Later Rupali said, “While I play Anupamaa, I’m more of Monisha Sarabhai. I am quite messy. Post this LIVE session, I will end up at the shop from where I got the pastry and would ask for a discount since a section of it is missing (laughs)”. Vijay was seen completely agreeing with Rupali.
