Rubina Dilaik recalls an unpleasant experience with a Bollywood director

Actress Rubina Dilaik who is currently locked inside Bigg Boss 14 house, is definitely one of the finest television actresses and has been a part of multiple daily soaps. However, the actress, during an interview earlier, went on to speak about an experience with a Bollywood director that did not go down very well with her. She went on to reveal, during an interview with Siddharth Kannan, how the director asked her if she has watched one of his films and to that, she denied, saying that she was in school back then.

She further added that since she belonged to Shimla and came from a conservative family, there were restrictions that she had to comply with and was not allowed to go to movies alone and had to be back home before 7 in the evening. Reiterating the conversation, she said how the director remarked how she does not know the work he has done and also said, 'I just feel like farting on your face.' Well, she did not feel very good about it and added how she simply wanted to just run from there.

In fact, Rubina had also spoken about how TV actors are looked down upon and everything that they wear, or the background, etc, is given undue attention too as those are the kind of things that you are judged for while screen tests and similar things are the last things that matter. At the end of this, she used to wonder just how these things happen and it simply left a sour taste. None the less, she highlighted how for her, the medium does not matter and that she feels she is going to excel the way she is and does not feel the need to fan the egos of such people.
