Rohit Shetty’s 1st cop drama to star Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff?

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty who has carved a niche for himself by nailing cop dramas and creating his own universe around them. 

Rohit has wowed audiences with his vision of a cop universe in films ranging from Singham to Simmba and now Sooryavanshi. Now, it appears that he is preparing to bring his magic in a cop drama to the OTT world, and the top contenders for it are reportedly three popular stars of today: Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, and Tiger Shroff.

According to a Mid-Day report, Rohit is planning to back his first digital web series, a cop drama, for Amazon Prime Video, which will be directed by his assistant Sushwanth Prakash. According to the report, the filmmaker is in preliminary talks with Vicky, Sidharth, and Tiger to play the lead in the cop drama web series, which will reportedly have eight episodes. According to a source, Vicky, Tiger, and Sidharth are Rohit's "top choices” for the role in his debut OTT offering.

Though it marks Rohit's first foray into the OTT world, he is not in a hurry to announce it and will most likely wait until the release date of Sooryavanshi is set

If this is true, then viewers will soon be able to watch Rohit Shetty's big-screen magic from the comfort of their own homes via an OTT platform. While we wait for Rohit to confirm this, fans of the filmmaker will be excited to hear this news. 

Meanwhile, the release date for Rohit's film Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, has yet to be announced. Since 2020, the film has been preparing for release. However, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, its release has been postponed. Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez, is now directed by Rohit.
