A lot of actors are managing both the television and film industry very well and the talented actor Rohit Roy is one of them. The actor has been balancing well between television and films and has recently announced big projects both in TV and Bollywood. As reported earlier, Rohit will be seen playing an important part in upcoming TV show which will be a remake of cult show Sanjivani. Now, the actor has announced yet another interesting project and it has left us excited.
Apparently the actor will be a part of upcoming Bollywood film Mumbai Saga. The film boasts of an ensemble cast with actors like Emraan Hashmi, John Abraham, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover and Prateek Babbar. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Anuradha gupta and is directed by Sanjay Gupta. The movie is touted to be an intense gangster drama which will go on floors next month and is targeting a 2020 release.

I’m playing a character called Baba and the story is about the underworld. I’ve worked with Sanjay Gupta earlier too, I was there is Shootout At Lokhandwala too so maybe that’s why he thought of me while casting for the film. It’s an exciting film and an exciting character, so I’m happy about it.”
The actor is really excited for Mumbai Saga and considers Sanjivani and added plus in his career. Speaking about his character in Sanjivani he shared, “I’m playing Vardhan who is the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of the hospital and he runs the business side of it. The story is about commerce v/s saving lives and that’s what happens in today’s times, everything has become commercial.”
