In today's gadget freak world, people have apparently come closer
to each other. While communication has become simpler no doubt,
emotions are slowly getting diluted. With this concept a light hearted
family entertainer "Rishto Ka Live Telecast"- a play in Hindi has been
made and will premiere on Holi.
The play revolves around four characters of a family. Father, Hari Prasad Sharma (Aanjjan Shrivasatv) is the head of the family. Wife Radhika Sharma (Reema Lagoo) is a housewife and a dedicated home maker. Son Rahul (Piyush Ranade) is a struggling actor and striving to make a big name in bollywood. Daughter Shruti (Veebha Anand) on the other hand is a modern college going girl who is always wired with gadgets and busy chatting with friends on social network forums.
All the four characters are busy in their own life and there is a huge communication gap between all of them which is largely seen in today's time. At one point of time they all come to know that a turning point is taking place in their lives with the help of a reality show.
The play has an ensemble of stars with veteran actor Anjan
Srivastava and Reema Lagoo playing pivotal roles. Both will be doing a
play after two decades. Television actor Veebha Anand who shot to fame
with Balika Badhu will be seen too in a key character. This will
be Veebha's debut in theater. The play will also see Prarthana Behere
and Piyush Ranade as important characters.
