The news of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's termination from "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" has left the show's fans in shock. Directors Kut issued a press release disclosing that Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami, who portrayed the parallel lead and the male lead respectively, were terminated due to problematic behavior on the sets.
India Forums reached out to Rishabh Jaiswal, who portrays the character of Krish on the show, to uncover the details of what went wrong between the actors and the production house. Speaking exclusively to us, Rishabh shared, "Pratiksha and Shehzada have just left the sets of the show. It has been very difficult for both of them and for us as well. As difficult as it is for us, It is Rajan Sir's decision, and I am sure it is a fair one. We are all very used to working with each other together by now. I have done a lot of scenes with Armaan bhai and with Pratiksha as well, so it is not going to be easy for me. We are literally going back to day one. I think it is going to be equally difficult for the audience to see new faces and for us to build camaraderie with new actors."

Furthermore, discussing the specifics of what transpired between the production house and both actors, Rishabh stated, "I do not know what exactly went wrong, but yes, there was friction between the production house and Shehzada since day one, and when I say day one, I mean since the day we were shooting in Mahabaleshwar for the opening episodes of the show. So yes, it was a build-up of everything here and there, and it finally led to whatever happened today. This was very obvious."
