While names had been thrown up for essaying the protagonist - Ashoka, we hear that the channel has zeroed down to locking the self-proclaimed devil' of Bigg Boss 9- Double Trouble!

Tellybuzz exclusively reported about Colors' popular show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat taking leap soon.

Any guesses for who the actor is?

Well, we are talking about the handsome Rishab Sinha!

Sources inform us, "Siddharth Shukla who recently wrapped up his shoot with reality stunt based show Khatron Ke Khiladi... Kabhi Keeda Kabhi Peeda was approached to play the lead but now the makers have zeroed down on Rishab."

We contacted Rishab who told us, "I can't confirm anything as there are many projects lined up."

Arhaan Behl is the only actor capable of acting this role... from young to old Ashoka.. in real life Samrat Ashoka lived upto his 70s.. also Arhaan is more than capable of potraying intense depth of character.. if the CVs want an EPIC they have to choose an ACTOR... not a pumped up gym-body...

Those who judging Rishabh widout even seeing him enter Ashoka sud know dat not we people but PH n cvs know who to cast n how to cast. Only after some auditions n important tests, casting is finalized. So, cvs wud have thought sumthn before casting him. I don't mind if he or someone else plays Ashoka but I will not bash or hate anyone before judging. A soft lukn supporting actress who was d friend of d lead heroine in a show went on to play strong roles like Razia Sultan n Draupadi. A soft lukn supporting actress of a show went on to play Jodha which was a strong role. So, we can't really judge anyone before seeing them act. Rishabh had done positive as well as negative roles so he can also play Ashoka if given a chance. Not to forget dat a muscular actor is playing Ram in a recent show. So, its no use of bashing anyone wen we don't know wat is actually done by cvs to cast people n wat actors go thru before getn casted.
