Ekta Kapoor's web venture, ALT Balaji has brought about many fascinating and out of the box stories for the viewers to explore. And, marking the digital debut for the Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai trio Mona Singh - Ronit Roy - Gurdeep Kohli, there is another story of seeking love and heartbreak that we get to witness.

Dealing with a topic like extramarital affairs, there is both beauty and emotional wrecking drama in the series.

The story

It all begins with Rohit Mehra (Ronit Roy) falling in love with his employee Ananya Sharma (Mona Singh), despite being a married man with children of marriageable age themselves. Their extramarital affair continues for some time only until his wife Poonam (Gurdeep Kohli) comes to know about his affair. What follows is a series of emotional breakdown, complex drama, and a few, very few, but relatable situations.
The Good:

For starters, we have to give it out to the chemistry that the three of them have managed to put across together; be it the helpless wife that Gurdeep plays or the confused yet emotional Ronit Roy as Rohit, and of course, Mona as Ananya at some instances does come across as the wicked other girl in a married man's relationship, but at the end of it all, it is just love they are looking for.

While the actors have done complete justice to their roles, there also is the writing and direction that deserves applause. Putting up a show like that without any of it coming across as unsavoury is commendable.

For someone who is a fan of romcoms, and love stories, this could be a great series to binge on every week.

The not so Good:

Many might find certain aspects to be nothing but typical Bollywood cliches, everybody going against Rohit and speaking ill of men in general, stereotyping them like they are the negative ones all the time.

Poonam, the loyal wife is shown to be rather regressive. As much as it is important to save a marriage, but her ideology in the series makes us wonder to what extent will one go to for doing so?

Verdict:

With every episode into the show, we think you begin to connect with them at different levels, and that, is what makes Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain not just a good, but a great show to watch.

What solid glorification of EMA in the name of love with no base provided as to why the man is actually unhappy in his marriage and falls for LoVe ! Abs disregard for any morals or value attached to marriage, ekta has always made marriage look like a joke and it just continues! Nothing against the actors but the concept is just BAD!

Ronit Roy is such a brilliant actor. They could have made this as a daily soap instead of web series. The concept is nothing new.

So basically Kya Hua Tera Waada Part 2 with Mona Singh playing the role of the "other woman" instead of the wife...

I just loved the bonding between Rohit & Nikky. She is totally a daddy's princess. Palak & Ronit make a lovely father daughter duo. You guys didn't appreciate Pooja & Palak's performance. Both of them did a wonderful job as Bani & Nikki. Could really connect to them.
