Revealed: Abrar & Sargun's Character Details in 'Yeh Hai Chahatein'

Only a while ago, we reported about how Chaitanya Chowdhary bid adieu to his stint of playing Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohobbatein, and also as to how the show is all set to call it a wrap on 20th December. But, now that this chapter is ending, a new exciting chapter in the same universe awaits the viewers and that is of the spin-off show, Yeh Hai Chahatein.

Apart from the several casting calls, the leading faces of the show are Abrar Qazi and debutant, Sargun Kaur Luthra - but that is something we know already. We also know that the relation of the show to the universe of YHM is that Luthra will be playing Ishita's (Divyanka Tripathi) niece.

However, here are some more details on the show and more so on the characters that Qazi and Luthra will play - connecting it to the show's base plot. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Sargun will be seen playing a single mother to a kid (who happens to be the child of her sister who reportedly passes away). But she raises him as her own. On the other hand, Abrar plays a rockstar in the show. Fate will cross paths as the kid will be a huge fan of Abrar’s character in the show and will insist in meeting him. The show will explore the various aspects and challenges of being a single mother and the taboos attached to it,” a source reveals.

Aishwarya Sakhuja is also going to play an important role in the show, predominantly being a negative one.
