Ranbir Kapoor - Sanjay Dutt's 'Shamshera' to release on THIS DATE!

Ranbir Kapoor is having a ball at the box office with his recently released film 'Sanju' performing exceptionally well at the box office. After a record-breaking weekend, the film is still running high on positive reviews and critical acclaim for Ranbir.

Ranbir portrayed the controversial star Sanjay Dutt in this biopic and it was a moment to cherish to see the two perform together during the end of the film. Post this, fans have been waiting to watch the two on silver screens soon and you will be happy to know that the two will share a fierce camaraderie on silver screens in 'Shamshera'.

An official statement from YRF reads, "YRF's action spectacle Shamshera that pits Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in a bloody face off on the big screen is set to release on July 31, 2020".

Directed by Karan Malhotra, who directed the blockbuster Agneepath(2012), Shamshera is a desi, high-octane masala film. An edge of the seat adventure, it is set in the heartland of India and will have jaw-dropping action sequences and a never seen before Ranbir Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt takes on Ranbir as he plays a ruthless, merciless villain in the film.

Shamshera also stars Vaani Kapoor as a gorgeous temptress and her pairing with Ranbir makes it one of the freshest Jodi's on the big screen. The film is set to go on the floors end of this year and shooting will wrap by mid-2019.
