Bade Acche Lagte Hai was a show that came in with barely any expectations for many but created an impact like few shows have. Apart from the fact that TV superstatrs Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor are being paired for the first time, little was known but the story that began with highlighting urban loneliness as a topic turned out to be a massive success.
With almost a decade passed away, producer and creator Ekta Kapoor is now coming back with Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2. That's right. We know that the sequel has been in the plans for a while now with several names popping as to who will play the new leads, but one major development recently happened pertaining the sequel.
Kapoor managed to have Tanwar and Ram Kapoor reunite on a video call to talk about the sequel. In this short chat, she explained them that the sequel is already in the works and that they are in fact set to have the promo come out in a couple of days. Both Tanwar and Ram Kapoor were elated to know about it and further went on to mention how the show was one of the best things happened to them. They paid their gratitude to the show as well. Furthermore, Ram Kapoor joked about how his stomach was another character in the original and asked if the new male lead has a ponch as well. To this Kapoor denied it but did mention that the new female lead has the softness that she felt Tanwar had in the original-

EK created magic once. Only once. No matter how much talented the new pair of actors are, they won't be able to reach the bar Ram and Sakshi created. As it is, sequels rarely live up to the expectations and SonyTv shows are currently doing bad on the TRP charts. This show has no chance.

Sakshit Tanwar and Ram Kapoor are respectable artists and only doing their jobs. But anything that Ekta Kapoor touches, turns to coal. She should be driven away from TV, Movies, and any form of entertainment as far as possible - even another universe would be too close. I feel sorry for Indians and pray for the day that sanity returns, and you are liberated from having to watch her moronic trash.
