Rajkummar Rao's 'Srikanth' set for OTT release: Here’s everything you need to know

Rajkummar Rao’s latest film, Srikanth, which has won many hearts in theaters, is now making its way to OTT. Fans who missed the theatrical release have reason to celebrate as the film is set to release on Netflix. The streaming giant announced the release with an official poster on their Instagram, revealing that Srikanth will be available for streaming starting July 5.

Srikanth, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, is a captivating story based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, an industrialist who pursued his dreams despite being visually impaired. The film showcases Bolla's journey and his determination, leading to the founding of Bollant Industries. Rajkummar Rao portrays the titular character, and his performance has been highly praised by audiences and critics alike.

Besides Rajkummar Rao, the film stars Jyotika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles. Srikanth was presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with T-Series Films & Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani. It initially hit theaters on May 10, 2024, coinciding with Akshaya Tritiya, and has since garnered a lot of critical acclaim for its heartfelt storytelling and strong performances.

Rajkummar Rao has been on a roll with his recent projects. Before Srikanth, he was seen in Mr & Mrs Mahi alongside Janhvi Kapoor, where they portrayed a married couple chasing their dreams, with Janhvi playing the role of a cricketer.
