Rajkummar Rao to play Ayushmann Khurrana's love interest? The actor reveals

Reports of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao reuniting for a gay love story titled Shubh Mangal Savdhan made rounds a few days ago. But a recent report in Times of India states that the actor has denied the reports and made it clear that he's not a part of the film. Now, fans are also excited to know who will star opposite Ayushmann in the film. 

For the unaware, Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan will be a comedy featuring homosexual love story. The film is a sequel to Anand L Rai's Shubh Mangal Savdhan which starred Ayshmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. About the film, a source disclosed Bollywood Hungama, "The idea is to bring out into the open bodily issues that no one discussed. Which is not to say that Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan will go down the same path as the first instalment with Ayushmann again. But there will definitely be a flaw in the protagonist to deal with."

Earlier, this month reports suggested that actor Jitendra Kumar, who is popular for YouTube sketches and TV series have been approached for the film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar is gearing up for Judgemental Hai Kya alongside Kangana Ranaut while Ayushmann's recent release Article 15 is receiving an overwhelming response from the audience. Also, the actor has many more interesting projects on his work front.
