There were reports that the television couple Raj Singh Arora and Pooja Gor has been approached as one of the contestants for Nach Baliye Season 6. Regarding the same, Raj says, "I have been approached for Nach Baliye two years in a row. But since, I'm not a reality show kind of a person, I am not very keen to take up the offer."
For some celebrities, the reason behind taking up the lucrative offers is that we mostly see the people in a reality show who are either out of work, are fine with flashing their private life on TV or are hoping to resurrect their fading career. And the very talented actor Raj Singh Arora says that he is not looking forward to achieve any of these.
Talking about the concept of reality shows, Raj says frankly, "Unlike others, I've never been excited for doing any dance based reality show. To be honest, I don't enjoy being on a stage, asking for votes and relying on the mercy of judges to get good points to sustain in the competition."
Not just Nach Baliye, the actor has been very fortunate to be offered other popular shows like Bigg Boss and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa too, but they too being reality shows, Raj never gave a nod for them.
Since Raj is too private as a person, he does not believe in publicizing his personal life. He says, "I am an actor and I think I should keep a little bit of mystery about myself. If you indulge in too much of a reality show, you tend to dilute yourself and that is the precise reason I don't wish to be a part of any reality show."
Raj also did not hesitate to say, "I very well know that reality shows are a smart way to make money and get massive publicity but I just can't do it and I hope even in my future the circumstances don't get me down to a level to take up such shows."
However, the duo has been open about their relationship in the media. Says the actor, "For the first three years of our relationship, nobody knew about it. When we both started dating each other, we knew we both were a TV couple but we were also very clear that we will never capitalize on that aspect. In the past, several opportunities came our way to do shows together. However, we are very clear that work and private life should be separate and let us not be known for our private life; let our work make a mark for us."

"I think for a relationship to really survive, apart from love, the elements required are compatibility, great understanding and maturity, while on the other hand, work should be an individual reflection of oneself."
On being asked about his choice of work in terms of acting, Raj says it clearly, "Being an actor, I'm open to good work in all the three mediums, films, television and commercials. As long as I'm in the form of a character and interpreting it, I'm all fine with it. But the moment we speak about a reality show, I'm not against it, but I personally don't believe in it."
The actor further went on to say, "I have been associated with some of India's very good shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Four, The serial and Ek Thhi Naayka. Moreover, Remix was one of the most popular shows and is still India's biggest cult youth show nothing has touched."
Sharing his current plans on the professional front, Raj says "I'll be soon going to London for 25 days to shoot for a film for EROS. It's my second film with Eros, first being Teri Meri Kahaani, which released last year. It's going to be a romantic movie and it is at a very initial stage right now, therefore I cannot divulge any further details about the same."
We at TellyBuzz wish Raj Singh Arora lots of luck and success for his future endeavors!

I can't believe Raj , in today's telly world actors like you are also there *sweet shock*. I agree with whatever you stated 101% !! I am shocked to hear it but its True Really TRUE that reality shows are nothing but publicizing one's personal life !!Moreover they are rigged/ scripted where a deserving contestant never wins . I further agree with you that a actor should be known for his acting not for his personal life ! I loved what you said about Remix. We miss you as Yuvi and other threesome too. Hope to see you in Remix Season 2. All the best ..Raj today whatever respect i had for you as an actor have increased ten folds !! P.S. Saying NO to reality shows needs guts because it gives massive publicity and loads of money But..But it publicize actors personal life too. By disliking the article or comments people are just showing " Jo Dikhta Hai Wahi Bikta Hai" as if there is no real life of the people who plays reel life characters . Its such a pity !!

Thank you guys for this article on Raj! It's always a pleasure reading his thoughts on stuff. I am glad he stays away from reality stuff though...and the biggest reason is that all of the are so freaking rigged. But I hope to see him soon in any of his projects! Wonder which film he is part of but looking forward to it! :D Also, I can't ignore what he said about Remix...that itself had me smile like crazy. Oh I love when any of the foursome references to Remix *sigh* And I so agree with him...Remix is the best youth cult show in India that has been unmatched since it went off air.
