Rahul Vaidya: Jasmin and Aly did call and asked me to have fun during Khatron Ke Khiladi 11

Did you expect such an overwhelming response to the song? How was the experience?

Rahul: No, I will be honest with you, when we were shooting, that is when I felt that people will like it. But when we were offered the project, I wasn't very sure, I did like the song, but I wasn't very sure how will the reception be. After we started shooting, I told Disha how this is going to be a hit and I am waiting for marriages to resume soon because I know that this song will play in every wedding. When the groom will be taking the bride away and she will bid adieu to her home, this song will play at every marriage.

Disha: We have shot for 5 marriages to say the least as we had to do so many rounds of the pheras because our directors kept on making us do it. I think we are done for life that way (laughs). 

Talking about marriages, what is the update on your marriage?

Disha: Even I want to know when will the marriage happen because only COVID can tell us. Even we have been waiting for things to improve and things are bad right now, booking a place or anything is all about restrictions, etc. We are also in the middle of it, so it is difficult to say anything right now.

The proposal was grand, so the wedding too, will be a grand one, I am sure?

Disha: I don't know about grand, but it will definitely be very beautiful.

Rahul: I am a singer and I have performed at so many weddings, but when I think about my marriage, I think that it is a small and beautiful marriage where all my near and dear ones are present, and Disha is also there (both laugh). Nonetheless, once things are better and we can enjoy our wedding, all our loved ones are present. 

Disha, will you ever do Bigg Boss? 

It is a very difficult show and everyone knows that and I feel I will be a very boring contestant if they take me. Neither will I do fights nor do I know how to cook, I will only be sleeping and they will themselves throw me out in a week so it is better that I don't go in the first place. Frankly, I think I have done my journey along with Rahul only as I was already in the show, so I have had my experience.

Next is Khatron for you, how charged up are you?

I have said yes, but now I am wondering when snakes and 'keede' are thrown on me and when I have to go into water, what will I do, because I don't know how to swim, what will I do when I am at a height, now I am just thinking what will I do. My phobia is water because I don't know how to swim and I am scared of drowning in water. 

Did you take advice from Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni?

They called me and they said that chill and have fun. The show is not just about strength and it is also about keeping one's patience and not panic, so I will try to do that and have control, and that will help me do better. 

Disha, will you go as a wild card to Khatron Ke Khiladi, if called?

Disha: I might do Bigg Boss for once but I can't do Khatron Ke Khiladi because I am so scared of all kinds of cockroaches, snakes, lizards. If there is one in the next room, you will find me shouting from here, so sorry. Actually, I am a very boring person, I realise now (laughs).
