Kapoor; numerology has always been of great value in the entertainment
industry.Today we have an actor from the tellydom who has changed his name officially. Rahul Arora, who is presently seen in Star One's Yeh Ishq Haaye will henceforth be called as Devaraaj Singh Arora.
A source says, "Rahul changed his name for various reasons. Primarily for numerology, his mother wanted him to change the name for both personal and professional reasons. Also, Rahul belongs to a Punjabi family and his father has a typical Sardar name, Rahul's mother wanted him to have a real Punjabi name."
When TellyBuzz contacted Rahul, he said, "Yes, I have made my mother happy today by officially changing my name and I am happy that she is really glad about it. I would request everyone to address me by the name Devaraaj Singh Arora henceforth."
We sincerely hope Rahul, oops! Devaraaj benefits out of this change...

It is kinda lame, as if he named himself Rahul when he was born...the mother should have given him a 'punjabi" name then itself if she wanted it so much! Just excuses, he is purely doing it for numerology and all that superstitious stuff, imho.

I just want to know how you can suddenly stop calling your Rahul and start calling him Devaraaj??? Karisma and Tusshar are still the same name only different spelling. However the total change seems really weird. I think they could have given him Dev as a pet name. If he continues to act that poorly, however, it doesn't matter what his name is or how many letters are in it. And if you don't believe me, just ask Viviek Oberoi. LOL

i really dont understand the logic behind changing his name because i dont believe in numerology and i liked his old name better . . . . but i really like the fact that he made his mom happy!!

Rahul..sorry devraaj...you need to notice that Karishma was more successful till she changed her name to Karisma. And Tushar, no comments..he can change his name to watever and can still not reach where he dreams to reach!Anyways, wat i liked was you made your mom happy!But dont expect too much after teh "name change"
