R. Madhavan - "I believe audiences is somewhat unnerved and shocked by how the evilness is portrayed"

From being the romantic hero every woman loved to transforming into a sinister Shaitaan, R. Madhavan is set to astonish audiences. Ever since the teaser was released, Shaitaan has sparked massive intrigue, sending shivers down audiences' spines. With his evil smirk and goosebump-inducing laugh, Shaitaan has captivated everyone's attention, leaving audiences eager to unravel the story further. 

By creating a significant impact with the content of the film, R. Madhavan has heightened anticipation for it. When discussing what the character Shaitaan means to him, the actor shares, “The Shaitaan character, I think, is the mean side within all of us. It's about how we like to take advantage if given the chance or opportunity and think that others won't know. It's that weakness in us that turns into evil. That's what Shaitaan means to me.”. 

Watching R. Madhavan portray Shaitaan, it's evident that the actor is thoroughly enjoying the process. When discussing his experience of performing as Shaitaan and what audiences should expect from the film, the actor shared, “It was very unnerving, at the same time, highly entertaining for me to perform the character of Shaitaan in this film. For me to be him and explore this dark side of mine was super exciting, and I believe audiences will be somewhat unnerved and shocked by how the evilness is portrayed. And I hope they enjoy the film.”.
