"Odhani has made an actor out of me"- Karan Tacker

How has your life been after Rang Badalti Odhani?
Life after Odhani is relaxed where I am doing nothing related to work. I am chilling and taking up everything easy by catching up with friends. Also I am eating a lot of food and also working out.

Is there anything that you miss really from the sets?
I really miss getting on the floor, putting make up, getting a script and learning my lines and getting into the world of action.

Any particular moment that you remember from the days of Odhani?
The last day of the shoot was really a memorable one because we shot 4:30 in the morning and everyone left after that. But it was just my camera person Sandeep Jadav, my director Mukesh, my creative Bunty and I who stayed back. We just hung back for an hour or two and we were just chilling.

Can you describe your journey in Television industry?
I do not hail from a television background. The whole journey has been a learning experience and it's too early for me to call it a journey because I just started off. I am still trying and learning to become a better actor. I am raw and I am happy to learn everything today.

Rang badalti odhani has given you another name 'Shantanu'. How was the experience living with another name?
I am really not sure about the name, but Odhani has definitely in some or the other way made an actor out of me. Love Ne Miladi Jodi was my first show as an artiste and it was like a warm up before my actual hit and the actual hit was Rang Badalti Odhani. I really owe it to the show for bringing the actor out of me.

There have been rumours about you and your co-actor Yashashri Masurkar not getting along well. What would you like to comment on the present status of your relationship with her?
I honestly do not think that there is anything to clear out as far as Yashashree and my relationship is concerned. As co-actors we are very cordial and we do our job well on screen and that's where my relationship starts and ends. Otherwise we definitely don't hang out after work. We both are really cordial and we like hanging out with our personal friends and that's all.

There was a rumour about you being in relationship with Khushboo Garewal. Would you like to clear the air out?
Actually I would not call it a rumour as it was just a snippet that had come in a publication. It was just an attempt by a reporter to try and show that she can do a job. I would like to take this opportunity and say that she is doing a horrible job as opposed to what a reporter should actually be doing. Because I believe that being an actor if my job is to act, then as a reporter it is her job to get the stories of the celebrities. But I guess there also the ethics of a reporter and her responsibilities towards truth of every story. So if she cannot do anything to do with reality then you are pathetic at your job. I would also like to take the opportunity to tell that Khushboo and I are superb friends we are very very close. She is like a family to me and her husband is my workout buddy. All three of us laughed when we read this and we still laugh at the person who has written this.

If you get another opportunity to do a show with Yashasheree, will you consider working with her?
Definitely. Why not? That's why it is really funny why people think that we really hate each other. It is really not like that and if I get another opportunity, it will be fun.

Now that you are on a break, is there any place that you want to visit?
There are a lot like Spain, especially after watching Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara I really want to take a Europe trip. But I don't think that's happening, because I am getting a intuition that I will be doing something soon.

So that means your fans will get to see you back on television?
Hope so.

Finally is there any character in television that you feel like doing?
Nothing right now. Actually I am glad that I am not because if it will immediately effects your work.
