Seen on shows like- Yam Hain Hum, Miley Jab Hum Tum (SAB TV), Geet Hui Sabse Parayi (Star One), Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se (Zee TV), fine looking actress Perneet Chauhan talks about her journey in the industry and her plans to take her career graph ahead.

Perneet, please tell us something about your interest towards acting.

I did not realize when I started taking acting seriously. A friend had suggested that I should try my luck with acting, and I decided to give it a shot. Since I took that step very passionately, It helped me grow. But yes, there have been dark days as well, when I thought that despite of my talent, I couldn't crack certain auditions. That is one phase of my life, which I will never forget.

What kind of roles do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy doing strong roles, where a woman is shown as independent and taking her own decisions. I also enjoy doing comedy as the characters are challenging and give me a chance to improve my acting.

Any challenging role you will never forget shooting for?

Oh yes! My character in 'Love Ne Milla Di Jodi'(Star One) was not only different but the sequences were also quite unique. I will never forget the suicide scene, wherein I had to act to slit my wrist. It was a difficult scene but my director helped me lot.

What are your aspirations in this industry?

I just want to do good work and let it speak for myself.

What are your hobbies apart from acting?

I love wildlife safaris!
