She has filed an FIR against them, stating that she was forced by her husband and father-in-law to take up a job while they also took away Rs 50 lakhs from her.

However, putting a stop to all murmurs, the actress broke her silence and told Tellybuzz, "I don't really know how to react on this. It has come as such a shock, that it has completely baffled us. My brother has been living in London with her and they used to visit around 2 or 3 times in a year, while they were married. So, I don't really have any great relationship with Megha."

She added, "She mentions that I stole her jewellery and wore it to a function. I have no idea which function is she talking about, as I barely meet her. And assuming her case, why would one wear stolen jewellery in front of the victim of the steal. Even her maternal house is in Gurgaon and mine in Jaipur, so even if she comes for a long stay, she doesn't stay with us for long."

When asked about the prime reason behind such an allegation, she tells, "I feel she is only doing this to harass us. She and my brother went through a divorce, so she is just getting back at us. Well, we did try convincing my brother to not get divorced, however after a point of time, its their life, you cannot force upon anything on anyone. She should't be having any other reason for doing this, as me and my family have barely had any kind of connect with her to harm her."

On being asked about the future of this issue, she tells, "I have complete faith in our jurisdiction and it will reveal the truth. We are just waiting for the investigation to commence."
