Promo: 'Swaran Ghar' touches on a never-heard-before concept - divorcing your kids!
Just to be able to see Roy on the small screen after the longest period of time and Ghosh, who is also selective about her projects being paired together and share screen space is a treat.

With Udaariyaan continuing to rule the charts on Colors. producers and actors Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are set and rolling to spread their wings as they present yet another show for the channel. Arguably this one is bigger for the sheer faces that it has managed to rope in.
TV stalwarts Sangeeta Ghosh and Ronit Roy play lead roles in the show and star in the recently released promo of upcoming show, Swaran Ghar. Just to be able to see Roy on the small screen after the longest period of time and Ghosh, who is also selective about her projects being paired together and share screen space is a treat.
Now, let's talk about the promo.

Ghosh and Roy, a seemingly happy couple are seen enjoying a board game when after a turn, Roy's character asks a shocker of a question that should they get divorced. This takes Ghosh's character by surprise which follows by the patent questions that come with when anybody decides to take a divorce - 'What will the world say?' 'A bond of so many years should just end' etc etc.
However, the mood entirely changes when we see three young boys entering a police station willing to file a complaint against their mother that she is willing to remove their father from their lives and get married to her 'lover.'
But the biggest twist comes in when Ghosh's character says that we might not be the first ones asking for a divorce but are definitely the first ones to be asking for a divorce from their children.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CY4EJlplwPZ/As expected, the show's concept immediately takes you to places an questions you wouldn't have anticipated. Albeit it does have a Baghban-esque vibe to it but the concept is indeed entirely different. The idea of three young boys being irked with their own mother so far as to file a complaint against her and on the other side, two in-love middle-aged people thinking of divorcing their own children is such a fascinating concept and we are indeed hooked on it already.
