The actress, known for her global presence, recently dropped a hint that has set the rumor mill spinning about a possible return to Bollywood.
On Monday, Priyanka shared a glimpse of her visit to Mumbai's iconic Film City on Instagram, sparking excitement among her fans. Accompanying the video, she played the emotional track "Ghar Aaja Pardesi" from the movie Gadar, adding a nostalgic touch with laughing and crying emojis, suggesting a mix of emotions as she revisited the landmark.
While her trip to Film City has fueled speculation about her next Bollywood venture, reports suggest that Priyanka's visit could be related to her upcoming production, Paani. The Marathi film, directed by Addinath M. Kothare, is set for release on October 18, and Priyanka is expected to meet with the film's cast and crew during her stay. Although she hasn't officially confirmed working on a new Bollywood film, fans are eagerly waiting for an announcement, especially after reports of her departure from Jee Le Zaraa due to scheduling conflicts.
Priyanka's Indian sojourn also included attending her brother Siddharth's wedding festivities. She turned heads in a striking pink saree for one of the functions. For another event, she chose an elegant orange embroidered suit, featuring intricate golden threadwork and sequin embellishments, showcasing her impeccable fashion sense.
After wrapping up filming for her upcoming project The Bluff, directed by Frank E. Flowers, Priyanka is set to appear in the action-comedy Heads of State alongside Hollywood heavyweights John Cena, Idris Elba, and Jack Quaid.
