Pooja Gor on nepotism: Its natural, but it's not always that only nepo kids will benefit or become successful

Actress Pooja Gor has recently been in the spotlight owing to her recent venture the Raj and DK show 'Guns and Gulaabs'. The actress played the role of Dulquer Salmaan's wife in the show and has been gaining appreciation from the fans for her role.

 Recently the actress engaged in a candid conversation with India Forums and talked about varied subjects like infidelity, nepotism, the non-working days of an actor, her hobbies and much more.

When questioned about how 'Mrunal Thakur's statement that 'Nepotism just doesn't exist inside' and her take on the same, she replied, 

"You cannot deny the fact that there are people in the industry who have been in the industry and now their next generation is a part of the industry which is very natural also because if you are a doctor, it's very natural to want your son to be in the medical field and most likely a doctor as well. Engineer's son will become an engineer, CA's son a CA, because there is familiarity and if your father has a knowledge of that particular filed, he will be the best person to guide you."

She further addded, "The whole idea for the parents is to provide their kids with the best life, protect them as per their best ability. So that is how that happens. Nepotism is there in every field and it's okay because what have those kids done wrong. Yes that is true that they get opportunities more times than maybe who is not from the industry or rather they will get a chance faster because of the positioning of their parents or probably with whom they have grown up with but it's not always that only they will benefit or become successful. If that was the case then we would not  have so many actors who are not from this industry or who's parents are not from this industry."

Talking about upcoming projects, Pooja highlighted that she is currently shooting for a web show for Netflix called 'Flight into Fear' and is being directed by Anubhav Sinha.
