Poacher: Alia Bhatt co-produced show delves into uncovering the largest ivory poaching ring in India

Today, Prime Video announced a significant collaboration with Alia Bhatt, the acclaimed actor, producer, and entrepreneur, who has joined as Executive Producer for its upcoming Amazon Original Series, Poacher. Produced by QC Entertainment, Poacher is an investigative crime series inspired by true events, delving into the uncovering of the largest ivory poaching ring in Indian history. This unique project merges the realms of environmental conservation and entertainment, aiming to spotlight the pressing global issue of illegal poaching.

Renowned filmmaker Richie Mehta, an Emmy-award winner, has helmed the creation, writing, and direction of Poacher. The series features a diverse and talented cast including Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in pivotal roles. 

Alia Bhatt's involvement as an Executive Producer through her production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, underscores her dedication to meaningful storytelling and her passion for nature conservation. Expressing her enthusiasm for the project, Alia emphasized the personal impact of Poacher and its poignant portrayal of wildlife crime.
