Let's hear from them what is there take on this topic...
Vrinda Dawda who was last seen in Channel V's show Dil Dostii Dance says - "I think its not right to play such songs during Ganesh Utsav, playing songs related to Bappa is still fine but if songs like Sheela Ki Jawani, Baby Doll and all really irritates me a lot."
Ashish Kapoor who is seen Star Plus' show Saraswatichandra says - "Yesterday I was thinking on this issue that people indulge in wrong activity in the name of God which is wrong but when I saw people enjoying and smiling with that loud music I felt that its not wrong to play loud music if it can bring a smile on people's face."
Mohit Sehgal who was last seen in Zee TV's Qubool Hai says - "I don't know whether its right or wrong to play loud music during the festival but I feel its right if you think this in the context of enjoyment and fun. I don't know much about the festival as I am born and brought in Delhi where the festival is not celebrated in a way as it is celebrated here, I have learned about Ganesh Utsav when I came to Mumbai."
Vatsal Sheth who is seen Star Plus' Ek Hasina Thi says - "I can't comment that whether it's right or wrong to play loud music, the festival is more about positivity and spreading happiness."
Mansi Shrivastav who was last seen in Zee TV's show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se says "It's not wrong if the loud music doesn't create nuisance and problems for others , this festival gives a chance to meet others and it also shows oneness and togetherness which makes the occasion more beautiful. So I think it cannot be a major issue if everyone enjoy the festival by knowing their limits."

Such hypocrisy! Item songs exist in our society, and millions of people actually like them enough to make them popular. It's a bitter truth and Ganapati Bappa and every other God should come to terms with it, and if possible, do something about the appalling taste of the junta.
