Falaq Naaz, who recently gained attention for her fight for justice for her brother Sheezan Khan, had a conversation with India Forums before entering the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. She discussed her upcoming journey on the show.

When asked about her decision to participate this season, the actress explained, "The offer for the show came to me unexpectedly. I have two reasons for accepting it. Firstly, my mother is a huge fan of the show and always wanted me to be a part of it. Secondly, at the moment, I am not mentally and emotionally prepared to take on a new daily soap. I am unable to deliver my dialogues or portray someone else. So when the opportunity for the show came, I thought it would be a good choice because I wouldn't have to act. Additionally, after our case (Sheezan Khan and Tunisha Sharma), people wanted to know the truth. Therefore, I am doing the show to reveal the reality to everyone."

Furthermore, when questioned about how she would handle herself in a show like Bigg Boss, where fellow contestants are likely to pass judgments, considering she mentioned her lack of mental bandwidth, Falaq clarified, "When I say I am not mentally fit for a new project, I mean I am not mentally fit to be fake or to portray a new character. At this moment, I am more comfortable being myself rather than pretending to be someone else. Otherwise, I am mentally strong."

When asked if she would share her side of the story regarding what happened with her brother Sheezan Khan in the past few months, Falaq responded, "Yes, if such a situation arises, I will definitely voice my opinion."

Regarding her brother Sheezan's reaction to her participation in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Falaq disclosed, "He was very happy. All he said was, 'I know Appi will play an amazing game.' He has more faith in me than I have in myself."
