Shooter Swapnil Kusale clinched the nation's third medal by securing a bronze in the Men's 50m Rifle 3P event. Following his remarkable performance on the global stage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a host of Bollywood stars, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Deepika Padukone, and others, showered him with their congratulations.

Kareena Kapoor Khan posted about Swapnil Kusale’s phenomenal achievement on her Instagram Stories. She stated, “Congratulations @swapnil_kusale,” along with clap emojis and the Indian flag.

Ranveer Singh posted a picture of the athlete and used a fire emoji to convey his feelings. Deepika Padukone also shared about the win on her Stories.

For those who may not know, Manu Bhaker kickstarted India's medal count with a bronze in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event, followed by another bronze in the mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh. All three of India’s medals in the 2024 Olympics have been achieved in shooting events.
