Parineeti Chopra misses late co-stars Sushant and Rishi Kapoor as their film 'Shuddh Desi Romance' clocks ten

It's been a decade since the release of the charming romantic comedy 'Shuddh Desi Romance,' and actress Parineeti Chopra is taking a trip down memory lane. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma and starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor, and Rishi Kapoor, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of fans, not only for its engaging storyline but also for the exceptional performances of the cast.

On this momentous occasion, Parineeti Chopra shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram account, celebrating the 10th anniversary of 'Shuddh Desi Romance.' The video is a nostalgic journey, featuring snippets from the film, as well as delightful behind-the-scenes moments.

In her heartfelt caption, Parineeti expressed how time seems to have flown by, yet the cherished memories of the film's shoot remain as vivid as ever. It reads, "Time really flies! A decade to this film but the memories are still fresh. This movie was a journey full of laughter, hectic shoots but heartwarming moments. 💕 What an experience shooting this film with such legendary actors. Rishi sir we miss you. Sushant, miss you even more. You were one of my favourite co stars. #10YearsOfShuddhDesiRomance."

Vaani Kapoor, who played a pivotal role in the film, also joined in the celebration by sharing a poster of "Shuddh Desi Romance" on her Instagram stories, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the film's release.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Jaipur, 'Shuddh Desi Romance' tells the story of Raghu (Sushant Singh Rajput), who flees from his own wedding and finds himself drawn to Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra). The film beautifully explores the perspectives of the younger generation on live-in relationships, commitment, and marriage, making it relatable to audiences of all ages.
