Palak Jain, who is seen in the show Junooniyatt produced by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Production, says that she loves the feedback that she is getting from the audience. The actress adds that the audience is really liking the uniqueness of the show.
“I think people are loving it because the audience wants to see newness in every episode, and I think in television, this is how it works. The track is interesting, and I am getting an amazing response from the audience as Seerat. I'm trying my best to portray Seerat, whether it's just for one scene or half of the episode. For me, fans’ love is everything,” she says.
She adds, “I have an amazing bond with everyone on set because I have a good equation with everyone. Besides, I'm a little introverted, but with those with whom I have scenes, I gel up quickly. I'm very pampered on set, and every co-actor treats me very genuinely.”
Meanwhile, she says that doing a daily soap is hard work, but she loves it. “It is very hard, but if you’re doing your dream job, it feels like living the dream. But in our profession, we are working with our emotions, so it is very draining at the end of the day as an actor. People don’t understand this; all they see is glamour and glitters on a daily basis. I try not to take my character home. I have learned in theatre that getting into the character is important, but getting out of the character is more important. Thanks to all my workshops, plays, and gurus!”
The show is being shot in Chandigarh. Talking about shooting in another city, she says, “I think working in another city, away from your home, makes you more flexible to adapt and more capable of dealing with ups and downs. Personally, my framework is always about growth. Whatever is making me grow in life, I definitely make that choice. So, the experience, no matter how it's going, I'm trying to enjoy this journey. The biggest learning from the set is: "Don't miss your mom, and be mindful about what you eat and drink!” she laughs.
