Our focus is less on outdoing 'YRKKH' & more on growing as an individual show: Krushal Ahuja of Jhanak

Krushal Ahuja, the charismatic lead of Star Plus' show 'Jhanak,' is basking in the glow of success as the series continues to captivate audiences and climb the TRP charts. In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, the actor shared his thoughts on the show's remarkable performance.

Congratulations on your show performing exceptionally well this week. As the leading face of the show, what do you think is that one factor that has resonated with the viewers of the show?

A single factor alone cannot ensure the success of a show. It's a collaborative effort, a team game where every aspect, from writing and directing to the visual appeal and performance of scenes, plays a crucial role in creating quality content.

The show has been performing well ever since it’s launch, however, this week, it has also out done Yeh rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which has been consistent on the third spot, How overwhelming does that feel? 

I believe our focus is less on outdoing "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" or any other show, and more on continually evolving as an individual show with each passing week. Our aim is to surpass our previous performances and strive for improvement every day. In what ways do you think Jhanak stands out from other shows currently airing and what do you believe sets it’s apart?

It is a daily soap and you get to see the same concept everywhere more or less. So I believe the audience is the ultimate judge of why "Jhanak" shines amidst the crowd. As a team we are trying our best to do our job very seriously and hoping to make a mark.

The audience has been waiting for the love story of Jhanak and Anirudh to unfold, what is in store for the audience in terms of that?

Well, talking about the love story, we have gift wrapped it multiple times and would really want the audience to open it one by one to see what is there for them. However, one thing is for sure, when they find the gift hidden beneath, they are going to love it and keep it with them forever.
