We have often seen actors pushing their limits to get the right emotion or feeling for a particular scene. And though the scene may turn out to be spectacular on screen, it takes a toll on some actors off-screen.

From actors Divyanka Tripathi to Abhay Vakil, we have seen several actors in recent times facing injury either while shooting a scene or on sets in other manner.

The latest unfortunate entrant to this list is actor Ankush Arora from the show, 'Yeh Vaada Raha'.

The actor was recently shooting for a scene on the show, where actress Ankita Sharma, who plays the role of Meher threatens to commit suicide. And in this intense moment, Ankush aka Kartik is supposed to snatch the knife from Meher's hand.

However, in the scene, things did not go as planned. Ankush did not realise that Ankita had a firm grip over the knife and while he pulled away the knife away from her, he ended up getting getting his hand cut which started bleeding profusely!

Ouch! The actor passed out and was rushed to the hospital immediately where he was treated with glucose and now has six stitches.

Being the professional and dedicated actor that he is, the actor resumed shooting after he started feeling better and was glad that the shoot wasn't stalled for a long time because of him.

Kudos to the actor's commitment and wishing him a speedy recovery..!

Poor guy! Hope his hand heals quickly. Why do they not use fake knives? It doesn't make any sense for them to use real knives when they can use realistic props instead. Safety comes first.
