One Night Before Aishwarya- Abhishek's Wedding an Unfortunate Event Took Place

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who are touted to be one of Bollywood’s power couple, are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary. The duo tied the knot on 20th April 2007 and kick-started their journey as man and wife. As known to all, Abhi and Aish have faced many ups and down both, in their personal and professional life but above all, they have managed to stay by each other's side, have each other's back and keep their bond rock solid.

Together, they have an 8-year-old daughter whom they have named Aaradhya Bachchan and together they all make for a beautiful and happy family.

As this Bachchan couple are celebrating thirteen blissful years of their marriage, a piece of story which dates back to the day before their wedding in 2007 is making rounds. And we must say it looks exactly like a scene out from a Bollywood film with an adventurous twist.

Yes! You read that right.

Talking about Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's grand wedding. The duo got married in Prateeksha. The media was super excited about the wedding and were already waiting outside Prateeksha for days before the wedding.

Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding was certainly the grandest of weddings seen in B-town for a long time. The couple who was given a cute moniker – AbhiAsh – was all set for their wedding day amidst media frenzy. All eyes were on this lavish wedding, which unsurprisingly courted its fair share of controversies. 

From the debatable wedding guest list to Aishwarya’s alleged wedding with a tree before she married Abhishek, as she was said to be manglik! But a Bollywood starlet of little fame made for the biggest headline and for all the wrong reasons.

However, one day before the wedding was to take place, a woman named Jhanvi Kapoor grabbed the headlines. She was a model-cum-actress who claimed that Abhishek was already married to her, and attempted suicide by slitting her wrist.

She accused that Aishwarya was stealing a man who is already married to her! She had claimed that she and Abhishek had got married in the presence of front of some friends.Turns out, it was all a publicity stunt, and she was a dancer in the song Dus Bahane from Abhishek Bachchan’s film Dus. Jhanvi was arrested for attempting to commit suicide.

Well, the rest is history, and Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are now blissfully married for thirteen years. We wish the couple a happy wedding anniversary.
