Oh No: Deepika OUT of Salman's next!

Deepika Padukone won't be romancing Salman Khan anymore...

Rumors about Deepika Padukone to star in Salman Khan's next are making rounds for a long time now. However, after much speculations, a source close to the film has spilled the beans.

If reports in a leading entertainment portal are to be believed, Deepika Padukone is no more a part of Salman Khan's next film titled 'Tubelight' that will be directed by Kabir Khan.

A source revealed to the portal, "Kabir Khan's team has already finalised their female lead and it's not Deepika Padukone. A Chinese actress will be debuting opposite Salman in this film. Deepika has already assigned her dates to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati and it is quite likely that the actress can manage another film considering how particular Sanjay Leela Bhansali is about his star's dedication towards his projects." (sic)

While fans were eagerly waiting to see this jodi together, it seems the makers had some other plans. But, we surely missed on amazing performances as both the stars are exceptionally great performers and when two amazing talents meet, a package full of entertainment is sure to blast! Sadly, we won't get to see that now.

However, there will surely be an intersting part in the film as Salman's younger brother Sohail Khan is going to play his onscreen sibling too.

'Tubelight' is a period film on the backdrop of the Indo-Chinese war and is slated to hit the silver screens in Eid next year.

Unlike some "A-list" actresses who acts in Salman movies just so they can be a part in the 100/200/400 crore club, actors like Deepika, Kangana, Priyanka don't need to do that. They know they have talent and can stand on their own. They choose roles which are meatier and not just to be Salman's arm candy.

Also, I want to see how Salman's movies perform when he doesn't release them over a long weekend/holiday.

Why should Deepika cry coz she is not in this film? Its insulting to her to suggest she is so cut up! She is a successful actress herself and does not have to be cast with Salman to make a name for herself.

She was never approached for the movie. This movie is based on Indian-China War. There's a Chinese actress opposite him in this movie which has already been confirmed by Kabir Khan. I hope IF will start posting articles that are genuine and not copy and paste from other websites which believe in only creating news.
