What made you to opt for a show like Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye?
Firstly, because I really like the character of Samarth and also, I did not have to play a father to some 25 year old. Apart from that, Balaji Telefilms' is a huge production house. Secondly, the show will feature for only 120 episodes and will not go on endlessly like other daily soap operas. And yes of course, working with Sonali Bendre is just fantastic.
Sonali Bendre, Apurva Agnihotri and you, all three of you have done films as well as television. How difficult or easy was it for you to understand each other and make things look well?
All of us are professional actors and each of us have a back up of lot of experience behind us. So I guess, one knows how to get over these things of interacting with fellow actors, understanding them and how to get that mutual warmth to not get things awkward. Everyone of us confine our way out and manage it well.
Post Ladies special, you will be seen in a full fledged role after a long sabbatical. How is it facing the camera now?
You know there was a time when you were being too choosy about the kind of roles you want to essay, you would be unemployed for three - four months between two projects but nowadays, if you are being too choosy about your work, you could be unemployed for three to four years between two projects. So that is what has happened with me too.
Life OK as a channel is specifically known to bring in fresh content. How true is it when it comes to Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye?
I really do not know how will the series fair and what will happen. I really cannot say about that as of now. I can only hope and wish that it does well with the viewers because if it does so, it is good for us. All the time and efforts that we are putting in will not go in vain and moreover, we will get that satisfaction.
Lastly, message to your fans...
I would like to tell that please do watch me and I hope you guys like me and my work and I really hope that we do not disappoint you.
TellyBuzz wishes all the luck to Harsh Chhaya for his upcoming endeavor.

Happy Gandhi Jayanti! I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent. Mahatma Gandhi Indian political and spiritual leader (1869 - 1948) With Greatest Admiration/Respect for the Father of our Nation. Proud to be an Indian:)
