How have you been keeping?
In these 40-45 days, I feel so so grateful to everyone, the fans, the viewers, the channel, and everyone. Because I know how the industry is, where you are not seen for a few days and people forget you. One of the main reasons why I am back and I am feeling great is because nobody lost their hope and faith in me. I am just thankful to everyone for all the love and support. It means a lot to receive warmth from everyone.
There were reports that Kratika will replace you but now you are back.
In TV, you need a female relatable face and I think the entire team is lucky to have her on board. It is very nice of her that in such a situation of crisis, even though she was not replacing me, she decided to take it and she has been receiving a lot of love because there is a separate fan base for Sandhya now. She is very warm, I met her recently and I am very glad that she chose to go ahead and come help us in that situation.
How does it feel to be back on the sets? What do the fans have in store next?
It is just good to be back on sets because, in these two years, everyone has become like family, including the technicians and everyone else. I think, for now, the audience should be happy about Meher and Sarab meeting and there will be a lot of happy and romantic moments and that is something I feel the viewers will enjoy, especially because there has been a lot of 'rona dhona' all this time so it is time to be happy now.

I think I missed being in front of the camera most. When I was at home, I knew I will miss working because I am a workaholic and the moment I came back in front of the camera, I felt like I have gotten a new life, the adrenaline rush that it gave me, playing someone else, that was amazing. I was glad that I am back and I hope I continue to be healthy.
You are shooting in your hometown, does it make things better?
I have never shot for such a long project in New Delhi. Obviously, they are not staying with me because my parents are both 50 plus but just the fact that they are half an hour away, it is very relaxing, emotionally and mentally.
We bet the fans can't wait to see their favourite Meher return to the screens once again!
