Nikkhil Arya: Happiness is more important than success

This International Day of Happiness, actor Nikkhil Arya who is currently seen in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal says that, for him, happiness has always been a priority. The actor says that it’s important to be truly happy to spread happiness.

“Happiness is the reason for which one lives. Whether you are rich or poor, educated or illiterate, single or otherwise; it is important to be happy from within. Only when you are happy from within, can you make others happy. Many of us carry a fake smile on our faces. It's such a shame that we rank amongst the saddest nations of the world, even Bangladesh and Pakistan fare better than us,” he says, adding, “Happiness is way more important than success. Most ailments and illnesses are related to the mind... and a stressed, unhappy mind is a recipe for disaster.”

Ask him what keeps him healthy and charged up and he says, “Well my greatest asset was my sense of humour but I guess I am also losing it as our country's happiness ranking goes lower and lower! (laughs).”
