While the topic of 'nepotism' was brought up again, some couldn't seem to draw the links and questioned the film's relevance.
A Twitter user commented,
" love @iamsrk but this series with Indian kids playing as Europeans in 80s is the most disconnected show ever planned. Zero interest raised . It’s like few American kids playing Malgudi days with Hawai backdrop!"
Another added, "#TheArchies from @NetflixIndia looks like a bunch of kids who actually have never read Archies.
"How does it look like an Indian adaptation ..where does Indians used to wear these kind off dresses eat burger, pizza, doughnuts When u tell Indian adaptation it should make u feel on screen also," said another.
Meanwhile, there were those who revived the nepotism debate. Reacting to the film's poster, a Twitter user said, "It should be called 'THE MULTIVERSE OF NEPOTISM'"
