Neha Tiwari bags Sony SAB’s show ‘Dharm Yodha Garud’

In an untold yet immortalized tale of a son’s affection for his mother, Sony SAB brings to you the story of the mighty king of birds, Garud (Faisal Khan) who exhibited extreme courage and grit to free his mother Vinta (Toral Rasputra) from the shackles of subjugation. Rishi Kashyap, the progenitor of all beings, was married to sisters Vinta and Kadru. While Vinta was calm, composed and learned, Kadru was the overbearing, evil sister who tricked the former into losing a bet leading Vinta to become a slave and fulfill her evil demands. As a result, Garud who was destined to be the Lord of the Skies, was born into slavery.

The show stars’ actors like Faisal Khan, Toral Rasputra, Parul Chauhan, Angad Hasija among others. Now, we’ve learned that actress Neha Tiwari has been roped in to play an important role in the show. Neha will be seen playing the character of Shani Dev’s wife Dhamini.

India Forums contacted Neha and she confirmed the news with us. Speaking about her character in the show, she said, “It’s a great experience being a part of the show as I’m getting to know more about the Hindu mythology. I’m sure the viewers will like the show and my character”.

Neha has been a part of projects like Paramavtar Shree Krinshna, Vignharta Ganesha among others.

Featuring Indian Television’s much loved face Faisal Khan in the lead, Dharm Yoddha Garud reflects on selflessness, honesty, obedience, and bravery which lies at the core of Garud, the devotee and charioteer of Lord Vishnu. Dharm Yoddha Garud premieres on Sony SAB on 14th March at 7:00 PM.
