Nawazuddin Siddiqui shares insights on sustaining a strong marriage amid controversies with Aaliya Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Tiku Weds Sheru' where he would be seen sharing the screen space with Avneet Kaur. The film which is romantic-drama has been written and directed by Sai Kabir and is produced by Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika Films. 

In other incidents, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was lately in headlines owing to the tension with his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui while getting involved in legal soup. Now while promoting his film, Nawaz engaged in a candid conversation with India Forums and shared his thoughts about marriage and what are the ingredients to keep it intact. 

When questioned, "What are your views on marriage as an institution and what do you feel about the idea of it"?

Replying to this Nawaz said, 

"I think its important that there should be friendship in a marriage. There a lot of conditions put out in the society that this happens, that happens, but a marriage can work well only if you understand each other, know each other and there is friendship. when you both think about each other's future and dreams and care about those dreams.."

He further added, 

"If you care about their needs. for eg if your partner has a wish or a dream, then the other should respect it and support it and if all these things are present in a relationship than it's very nice."

Scheduled for its premiere on June 23, 2023, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, "Tiku Weds Sheru" takes audiences on a captivating journey into the world of two eccentric and ambitious individuals. Apart from that, Nawazuddin is set to appear in the film, Haddi, Bole Chudiyan, Noorani Chehra and Sangeen among others.
