In the viral video, Nana Patekar, clad in a brown blazer and hat, is seen shooting for his upcoming film "Journey" on a street near the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. As a young fan approaches from behind to take a selfie, Nana reacts by smacking the back of his head. A crew member standing beside Nana then intervenes, grabbing the fan by the neck and escorting him off the set.
The incident has triggered a wave of criticism on social media, with users expressing their disapproval of Nana Patekar's actions. One fan on X remarked in Hindi, "In fact, we the common people have given the status of God to these actors and cricket players in India, so we have to be ready to get slapped and kicked by them."
