Nana Patekar comes onboard with Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Vaccine War'

Director Vivek Agnihotri, who tasted massive success with his ‘The Kashmir Files’ this year, has started shooting for his next project titled ‘The Vaccine War’ in Lucknow. Well now, according to latest reports from Bollywood Hungama, veteran actor Nana Patekar is also a part of the film. The reports stated that, “Nana Patekar plays the key character in The Vaccine War. He has a significant and fully developed character. Nana Sir is enjoying filming for the movie and is giving his all to portraying his part.”

The reports also stated that, “Along with Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Vivek Agnihotri's wife, also appears in The Vaccine War. The cast of the movie also includes Divya Seth, a seasoned actress, Gopal Singh, who most recently had a prominent role in Madhur Bhandarkar's India Lockdown (2022), and Gopal Singh."

It took Vivek Agnihotri almost a year to conduct the necessary research, compile the necessary data, and deliver it to the audience. he film's story was created on 3200 pages by 82 writers, who worked on it day and night. Also the team spoke with actual scientists and those responsible for creating the vaccine in order to perform effective study.

Talking about the film, 'The Vaccine War‘ pays tribute to the endless support and dedication of the medical fraternity and scientists during the uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic.  It is scheduled to be released on Independence Day in 2023.
