'Nagarjun' role takes a toll on Pearl V Puri's eyes!

Contact lenses can be a pain if used for a prolonged time!

The lead role of Arjun, a 'Naag' warrior in the popular TV show "Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha" is taking a toll on actor Pearl V Puri's eyes as he is asked to wear thick green-coloured lenses.

The lenses are specially made for Pearl and are very thick as compared to normal lenses.

"I have been shooting action sequences everyday with a blurred vision. However, things got serious recently when my visibility became very low, almost nil due to wearing these thick lenses for at least 12 hours everyday," Pearl said in a statement.

"Hence, I had to visit a doctor who has advised me to put eye drops at regular intervals, keep my eyes moisturised and not wear the lenses for 12 straight hours as my eyes too need to breathe."

"It is not easy getting into the 'Naag' look, however with challenges also comes satisfaction and right now I am on cloud nine as I am getting to play Arjun, the warrior," he added.

Actor Anshuman Malhotra was earlier playing the role. He was seen as young Arjun.

The Life OK show also features Nikitin Dheer and Pooja Banerjee.

since he is arrogant and self possessed - let him loose something precious to feel the pain that he causes for others. He has broken the heart of Asmita sood and humiliated her by saying "she demands time from him". He abused so many in the msm set. So many were upset with his punkiness and the nagin girl friend. When they kicked him out and got Sid Arora, he freaked out and allowed of his freaky followers to abuse Sid in his and his freaky girlfriend Hiba's social media! Shame on this nut case and yes let him loose his eyes - and become a blind one and only naag!
