Monica Bedi's 'Closeness' With Famous Cricketer Is The Talk Of The Town

Actor Monica Bedi may not have had the best careers in Bollywood to boast about but she has certainly had an eventful life. Interestingly, Bedi is currently in the news owing to her closeness and a budding friendship with a former cricketer in the form of Mohammad Azharuddin. Reports suggest that the duo have been hanging out with each other quite a lot lately and, in fact, the duo has become really close friends with each other too.

Even with their inner circle, they have maintained that they are just 'close friends'. Talking about how and when did they meet, Bedi met Azharuddin through a common friend and politician, Sanjay Nirupam. It is also being said that Bedi was a special guest from Azharuddin's side at the latter and Naureen's son, Asaduddin's wedding in Hyderabad.

As known, Azharuddin was first married to Naureen, with whom he had two sons Asad and Ayaz. After 9 years of marriage, he divorced Naureen. He then got married to Sangeeta Bijlani in 1996 but later separated in 2010. 

When it comes to Bedi, she is known for being involved with gangster Abu Salem back in the day and being arrested and serving jail sentence earlier. She finally went through a total change of image with her stint in Bigg Boss 2.
