Actor Mohit Malik has been approached to step in as the male lead in TV show "Bahu Humari Rajni_kant", if a source is to be believed.

After Mohit Sehgal, actor Mohit Malik has been approached to step in as the male lead in TV show "Bahu Humari Rajni_kant", if a source is to be believed.
After Karan V. Grover bid adieu to the show, the slot of the male lead in the show, which is aired on Life OK, is empty.
"Mohit has been approached for the role of Shaan. The actor is out of the country and the final decision will be taken once he is back," said a source.
Karan will start shooting for a movie next month, and had to put in his papers due to that.
"Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant" -- a light-hearted show, narrates a story of a genius and a female robot, played by Ridhima Pandit.
Mohit found popularity after he played the role of Bharat in "Banoo Main Teri Dulhann".
He also played a negative role as Samrat Singh Rathore of "Doli Armaano Ki", and was also seen in dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded".

Even though iam not reguler fiollower of HBRK when ever i watch this show iit brings simile on my face while watchng this diffrent characteizations of every actor. since its women oriented show iam glad Mohit Sehgal did not want to accept another women oriented show.Hope he will get nice show soon.Btw iam enjoyin Karan performance in the show.All the best to new Ishaan Mohit Malik

Mohit Malik is a great actor Karan was amazing as Shaan it's sad that he decided to quit I really wish they could do something so that he can come back after his movie shoot I really like Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant show

@Rush: Mohit is not only fit for angry young man role. In Suvreen Guggal, he played a friendly n caring guy who wud even joke sometimes. His role in DAK shocked many who watched him in such a nice role in Suvreen Guggal.

Mohit Malik wouldn't really be the right fit for Shaan's role..He has this hard look which doesnt go with the smart goofy eccentric scientist..

i have been applauding Mohit Malik since Doli Armaano Ki days he's so good at acting Mohit suits in angry young man roles but i doubt if Shaan's character can be carried ahead by anyone other than Karan V. Grover

I know Mohit is a very good actor but don't know if he will be able to pull off Shaan's role! Karan looked really goofy whereas Mohit would fit better in angry young man roles...
